Come and learn Balboa where you’ll dance to the great classics from the swing era as well as more modern tunes. We are an active bunch who just love the Balboa dance, and want to share this passion. We run classes weekly, dances monthly, and workshops throughout the year.

Beginners "Balboa" class (level 1) starts at 7:30 till 8:30

Balboa Beginners/Intermediate Class (level 2) starts at 8:30 till 9:30

Our beginners class will introduce you to the 1920's form of swing dance which will give you many the basics for some great swing dances like Lindyhop and Balboa.

+ No partner necessary (as we rotate the class)

+ Fun and easy to learn

+ Very sociable

+ Partner swing dance

+ We also hold regular social nights so all the dancers can meet the people from our other classes.

We recommend that you come to our beginners class at 7:15 where we will give you a good grounding on all the basic steps and shapes used in Balboa. (and other swing dances)

Improver Balboa 8:00 till 9:00

We assume that you have the basics of swing dancing learned in lindyhop or some other Balboa beginners classes or our beginners Jive Class.

Intermediate Balboa Musicality and Styling 9:00 till 10:00

You will be confident will all the Balboa basics.
We will adding more steps and style so you will look good on the dance floor. Dancers who are happy with Balboa basics (come around and spike etc) and would like to learn more steps, and work on styling and musicality.

Level 4 class Intermediate and above

Meet at 8:00 for class start at 8:15 till 10:00 with a break

We welcome all intermediate or advanced Balboa Dancers
